“Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.” And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him. Luke 5:10-11
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake… For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything. 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5, 8
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1-3
The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. Titus 3:8
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:16-17
As the family of God our purpose is to exalt Christ and make him known. We do this by proclaiming him to the lost sheep who have yet to hear his voice and by proclaiming him to one another as we grow in the knowledge of Christ.
We are not a particular building, logo, event, or leadership team; we are a community of called out ones that have our home above where Christ is, seated at God’s right hand. Our purpose is to make disciples which plays itself out in many ways. All of us have been gifted by God to function in the body of Christ. Together our lives make up ONE collective purpose to glorify God in the the gospel of Jesus Christ!
As the Spirit regenerates dead souls our church will grow both numerically and spiritually with the result being more established churches wherever the Lord wills. The mission of the Kingdom is simple and we aim to live simple lives in Christ. Everything we have is for God and His Kingdom; our money, time, relationships, jobs, commitments, hobbies, marriages, children, and everything else that makes up our daily lives. We love God and He is our greatest treasure. As a result of this our mission is to delight ourselves in Him and tell others of His amazing grace!
